Clinical Observation On Treatment Of Wind Phlegm Obstruction Epilepsy With Zhixian Decoction Joint AEDs

Purpose:Observation that Zhixian Decoction joint AEDs clinical efficacy of the treatment of The wind phlegm obstruction epilepsy.Discussion the effects of Zhixian Decoction on adverse drug reactions induced by long-term use of anti epileptic drugs.Material and method:Select the diagnostic criteria and inclusion criteria of 45 patients with epilepsy syndrome, commit the method of before-and-after with comparing itself, observe and record the improvement of eliminating side effects of patients’ seizure frequency, the attack degree of disturbance of consciousness and its duration, the degree of rigidity, convulsions and its duration and last but not least, feeling of dizziness, headache, modern depression, nausea and vomiting while using Zhixian Decooction cooperated with Western Medicine. After 3 months of curative effect evaluation(Use Epilepsy Disease- Clinical Practice Guidelines and SEP), use t test for Epilepsy onset and adverse effect profile of symptoms score, seizure frequency points rate number change for attack counts,therefore to determine the total curative affect.Results:Zhixian Decoction was effective in the treatment of 45 cases of patients with wind phlegm obstruction type epilepsy(the attack degree of disturbance of consciousness and its duration, the degree of rigidity, convulsions and its duration)The therapeutic effect was significant accounting for 26.7%, effective accounting for 73.3%. Before treatment and after treatment, there were statistically significant differences(P < 0.05). Based on the improve of attack frequency:the total control of 13.3%, 22.2% were markedly effective, 23 cases accounted for 51.1%, the invalid accounted for 13.3%,the total effective rate was 86.7%.Side-effect reation with the improve statistic is :reactions to improve the situation: Vertigo effective rate was 84.4%, headache was 75.6%, the effective rate was 73.3%, the rate of nausea and vomiting was 80%.Before treatment and after treatment, there were statistically significant differences(P < 0.05).Conclusion:1.AEDs joint Zhixian Decoction can control the frequency of The wind phlegm obstruction, the attack degree of disturbance of consciousness and its duration, the degree of rigidity, convulsions and its duration; 2.AEDs joint Zhixian Decoction can improve the patients with phlegm obstruction epilepsy epilepsy due to Side-effect reactions of dizziness, headache, emotional depression, nausea and vomitin.Especially for dizziness.
