Huangqi, as one of the traditional Chinese tonic herbs, is a long historical and well-known herb in traditional Chinese medicine., There is a word "there are nine huangqi widely used in ten recipes".It has these functions to supple "qi"and strengthen your muscle. It also can cure abscess.Meantimes, it has the effects of diuretic and myogenic functions. Astragalus (Radix Astragali) is dried roots from Astragalus membranaceus (Fisch.) Bge. Var mongholicus (Bge.) Hsiao and Astragalus membranaceus (Fisch.) Bge. Var. mongholicus (Bge.) Hsiao stipulated by China Pharmacopoeia.According to the Ministry of Health ministerial standards (WS3-B-3335-98), Huangqi injection is extracted and prepared from Huangqi Its functions are "Yi Qi Yang Yuan", "Yang xin tong mai", "Jian pi li shi" to cure ""qi" deficiency in heart, blood st-asis of viral myocarditis, heart failure and hepatitis Spleen wet storm. However, the chemical compositions of traditional Chinese medicine injection studies haven’t been operated generally. The chemical composition study of Astragalus injection contributes to its quality research and to promise a better understanding safety, effectiveness and uniformity of Astragalus injection. Eventually, this method can ensure the quality of their products. Meantime, the efficacy and clinical application of Huangqi still need a extensive study in order to ensure its serious role in the clinical treatment of diseases. Thus, according to the ministerial standards about huangqi injection and other materials, I made an analysis and verification. Second, the chemical constituents of Huangqi injection were isolated. At the same time, Taking its treatments of cerebrovascular disease into account,I found Huangqi injection has a wide range of applications on cerebral infarction,so I carried out a systematic review and analysis the function mechanism and therapeutic effects.The thesis carried out the following aspects and researches.(1) Writing some reviews about the major chemical constituents and their biologically effects of Huangqi and the pharmacological research and clinical effects of Huangqi injection.(2) According to the Ministry of Health ministerial standards (WS3-B-3335-98), I did a small laboratory preparation to test and analysis the changes about the preparation process of Huangqi Injection. Meantime,I want to discover and explore the rationality and the problems of the presence standard.(3) Using the normal phase silica gel column chromatography and HPLC techniques and other methods,19 compounds have been isolated. Eventually, I have analysised 14 compounds successfully.(4)After finishing the clinical research of Huanqi injection treatment of cerebral infarction systematic evaluation. I draw the conclusion that Huangqi injection can reduce blood fibrinogen and decrease plasma viscosity effectively in the treatment of cerebral infarction. However, it does not affect hematocrit large. As a whole, it can reduce blood viscosity, Huangqi injection can increase the repair of neurological function, helpsto improve the daily lives activity of patients with cerebral infarction, benefits for the treatment of cerebral infarction. However, the effective substances are still not clear. In the part 3, a large number of mannitol had been separated, that often used in the treatment of brain edema after the treatment in clinic.Through the above several parts, the present preparation process of Huangqi injection has been described detailly;19 compounds were obtained, that contributes to content determination and screened for activity in the next step; using the system evaluation method to study therapeutic effect of Huangqi injection on cerebral infarction,which provides a reference for a further reasonable and safe use of Huangqi injection and contributes to the effectiveness of the expanded therapeutic effect. A large number of mannitol had been isolated,that is used in mannitol edema after cerebral infarction widely, therefore, to validate the effective component in the treatment of cerebral infarction is aslo important.
