Accordingly, it is one of important problems being faced with manufacturing enterprises that how to improve their competitive abilities. In order to reach the goal, one of vital means is to synthetically make use of the technologies of information and modern management to achieve the integration and optimization of enterprise resource. With the fast development of science and technology and the frequently update of product, nowadays the model of production which process a little batch and excessive breed become to be a dominant status. The traditional method of process design have not adapted to the developing require in the industry of mechanical production. CAPP can condense remarkably the period of process design and ensure the quality of process design. Accordingly CAPP will increase the marketable competition of product. CAPP is a kind of technology, which turns the design data of product into the production data of product, which assistant technologist designing the process of production by use of computer technology. PDM is a kind of technology, which supervises the correlative information and process of product. PDM provides the informational management about the overall lifecycle of product. At the same time PDM establishes a parallel and concurrent environment for the design and production of product at corporation. As information integration in the project domain, PDM provide a necessary and supportable environment for product data and process management/ parallel product design / the integration of CAD/CAPP/CAM system. This paper have taken the CAPP of"PDM apply and implement in incorporate project"in the focal point project of Guiyang Huayang Aviation Electrical Appliance Company as study object, worked over the conception and function of CAPP, and made an academic study on the integration of the CAPP/CAD/CAM. Besides offered the precept for the current problem existed in the Guiyang Huayang Aviation Electrical Appliance Company.
