Image-Strengthen Technique Of PACS Workstation

Because of development of computer technique, big medical equipments are becoming digital. PACS system has been widely used in all kinds of visual medical equipments. Image enhance technique in image workstation has become an important index to check up PACS system and big medical equipments. Image enhanced technique is one of basic techniques of image processing system, it is a important pole in beforehand processing of image processing system. In this paper a new enhanced method of digital medical image is proposed based on wavelet transform and fractal coding.1. The image de-noising based on image average, wavelet transform and medium filter. When the data is being collected, the collected course will be carried out many times, then took average, so noise can be reduced. Because the noise has high frequency, in wavelet's field we do medium filter for all high frequency signal, then clean the noise by subtracting a valve. The result shows that this arithmetic can clean the adding and gauss noise, it's effect is much better than that of soft valve.2. Wavelet multi-resolution can pick-up signal's character in multi-yardstick and multi-angle, so it often obviously distinguish signal in different yardstick, we may finish given picture's enhancement by adjust parameter of plus-function. Big plus-function can be used in the major part, and others may use low plus-function, so concerned part can be in focus.3. Edge enhancement is a difficulty of image processing. There is often noise in image, noise and edge are all high frequency signal, which are difficult to distinguish; But edge has much bigger energy and range than those of noise and it will become blurry after smoothness, so filter may be used in yardstick area, where noise can be reduced and edge is distinguished. Position is carried out in little yardstick, then focus is made to gain the actual position of edge; Multi-resolution way on the basis of wavelet transform can satisfy all requirements, and offers the estimate about edge's sharpness or smoothness.4.
