With the rapid development of Wireless Trunking Communication System in our society today, more and more people pay attention to the study on trunking signaling. Logic Trunked Radio (LTR) signaling is a standard open signaling, which is widely used in distributed trunking system for the advantages of simple format, high speed access and makes full use of channels. But some shortcomings are easy to be discovered when comparing with other signalings, such as data speed is too slow, be short of prolific functions to work well in some situations. So what kind of improvement can enhance LTR signaling to match more and more requirements of customer is a hot topic today.Firstly, this thesis introduces the main function, work mechanic and control ways of trunking system. Then the stardard of LTR signaling and system features are put forward. It's easy to find two disadvantages after analysis. This paper proposed ways to overcome them.Then, to deal with the disadvantage that mobiles' dependency on their home repeaters, an arithmetic which is used to avoid home repeaters failure is proposed. Mobiles will start a mechanism to find a new available repeater to monitor, when they detect the home repeater fails. So these 'roaming' mobiles can still work with trunking mode.Besides, a new kind of additive high speed signaling is developed to get rid of disadvantage of being lack of features. This new signaling is compatible with LTR very well, and can extend new features such as call between different groups and special call very flexibly and easily. Examples are given to explain the appendix signaling.In the end of the thesis, the effect of Home Repeater Failure Avoiding Arithmetic is proved through a simple call system with Poisson distribution. Detail procedure of LTR signaling working accompanied with new additive signaling to implement a new feature is described.
