Research On The Management Of Library Information Service

Making theoretic and practical research for the library service management from theangle of the service science is the requirement for the persistent development of the libraryservice management itself and the circumstance in which the library information service lies.The management of the library information service is the development of service managementscience in specialized field, which implicates that the service management science is tendingto mature gradually due to its extending. And the management of library information serviceis a trend toward the development of the library management in its theory and practice areasunder the new condition.This dissertation puts forward the new tendency of the library information service and itsmanagement combining its traits on the basis of merging the advanced ideas or viewpoint ofthe service science under the guide of the scientific research method with much demonstrationand scientific analysis; and argues the frame of the theoretic foundation of the management oflibrary information service----loyalty management ,knowledge management ,relationmanagement and full—scaled quality management under the new state as well as therelationship between the theory of the service marking management and the management oflibrary information service; and discusses the process control of the library informationservice,in which the paper makes some theoretic research as the management in the processof the library information service and the new method of the achievement effect appraisal asconcerned with. Finally, the paper discourses the importance and the way of the usermanagement, at the same time, it comes up with that the user net training and the personalizeduser training are the new increasing point of the library user training currently.In a word, the management of library information service is a new area that is developedunder the new environment. Though the paper tries to enrich and deepen the theory of themanagement of library information service by the study of the relative question further andmakes it possess some certain practical significance, the scope and depth of this study arerequired to further develop and perfect, and should make efforts to promote the theoretic andpractical maturation of the management of library information service.
