| Social news regard as special skill of attacking cities ,fighting for readers.But, the development of theoretical research and practice is incongruous .The study of nature , characteristic, method of interviewing and writing, grading skill, direction of public opinion , social effect about social news are also not deep enough and perfecting.Some social news has presented harmful trend of "fawning on customs , hunting for novelty , cater to , shallow " etc. Some social news is limited to the simple record to the daily trival matters,deviating from original intention because of lacking the ideological content and guidance,all of that deserve insider's vigilance. This thesis regarded social news of YanZhao Metropolis Dailyas the case, analysed its successful experience: closely relating to common people's life,servicing common people's life.the supervision by public opinion is developed to the authoritativeness,geting involved into the comment, guiding the public opinion ; Summarized its social function: guiding the public opinion , safeguarding the social stability , perfecting the social system , advocatting the advanced morals; At the same time,the thesis pointed out the drawbacks of unfounding , fawning on customs , homogeneity inclining , too centralizing in the negative social news in YanZhao Metropolis Daily, then analyzed the origin of this disadvantage, Proposed the creating ideas and measures of the social news of Metropolis newspaper: opening up the thinking orientation,expanding the field of reporting; excavating the news source thoroughly, doing a good job of the in-depth reporting; improviung cultural intension , servicing social conduct; speaking with the fact, preventing the infringing.
