Recently, with the flying development of internet, more and more organization, group or person, begin to pay attention to network, and issue or search information on network. Although the quantity of the information of network is very huge, some people still feel that they can not find what they want, then how to make the resource can be understudied by application software and easy to be searched, that is a very pivotal problem.Ontology is an explicit specification of a conceptualization. It can express domanial knowledge with definitely and formalization, it can improve the operational capability of different system and accelerate the sharing of information. RDF/RDFS is an integrate formalization system; it includes the syntax of BNF and the semantics based on model theory, so it is a mature and reliable system. So, all these will insure the correctness of RDF consequence and the semantic explain on RDFS ontology of application software.At first ,this discourse introduce the sort and capability standard of information retrieval system and configuration of semantic world-wide-web, then make a further analysis and study on ontology knowledge, resource semanteme and its description. Ontology and the rule of design have been studied. The ontology of computer domain based on the conception, the inherit of conception; example and the limitations with RDFS have been designed in order to show its altitudinal share and essentiality. Then comparability and relativity of conceptions have been put forword, and it is used in domain ontology. This solve the problem of calculate them with traditional knowledge. In domain ontology model, the comparability and relativity was calculated by the wey of semantic distance between conceptions, then it will realize the intelligentize of information retrieval system based on ontology, and can mine semantic information on ontology, and can study the background knowledge from domain ontology. Calculate through RDFS semantic reasoning and the comparability and relativity, in existing resource describe storehouse it can find the content that correlates with user's needs, realize that the semantic amalgamation of relevant information, improve the efficiency of the information retrieval.
