With the development of automatic control and computer technology, remote monitoring and maintenance of devices and systems through the Internet is expected to become common in the near future. In this article, I present my thesis of remote monitoring Power through Internet. This system enables remote monitoring and control of Power systems status from communications center through the Internet for immediate and effective response to any equipment malfunction.In this paper, we first analyses the status of remote monitoring, then we introduce the background that we bring forward remote monitoring of Power, we get the conclusion that it is not only feasible, but also is the tendency to remote monitoring the Power. We analyses the structure of power supply, many parameters should be detected in remote monitoring, we give an example of how to detect the voltage, current and temperature of accumulator.ARM 7 S3C44B0X CPU produced by SAMSUNG had been chosen as main controller. The complex environment has considered in the designing of the system, in order to go to Internet, it not only choose wire but also wireless in the design of the hardware. The peripheral circuit of controller has been introduced in detail, for example, how to connect SDRAM, FLASH, RTL8201 and MC35 GPRS module with controller.To the transmission of wire, we bring forward TCP/IP stack should be added in the morning system in order to transmission data, we introduce how to realize TCP/IP stack, embedded operating system has been used in the system. We introduce TCP/IP stack thoroughly, including the function of each layer. The realization of TCP protocol which lies in transmission layer has been analyzed in details, we introduce the theory of Socket in the end, which is very import in the transferring of the monitoring data.This paper introduces embedded operating system, we illuminate the operating tool of uClinux. how to solve the problem of No MMU, real-time and multiple-course are explained too in this paper. This paper compares the development of program in Linux and tradition, the trait of development in Linux has been explained.To the transmission of wireless, this paper introduces the realization of connecting to Internet through the network of GSM, The strongpoint and shortcoming of connecting to Internet by different means have been analyzed in carefully. The realization of connecting to Internet through GPRS module has been explained.Our remote monitoring system can remote the state of the power supply through the test, for example, we can get the frequency and the output voltage of the power supply. The remote monitoring system has run well by far.
