The RF Sub-System Of A Mobile Communication System For Verification

The thesis probes into the specification in the RF sub-system of the new generation cellular mobile communication system(4G).Based on the demand of research on the 4G system for verification,the thesis presents the main specification in the RF sub-system of 4G system for verification and according to the specication ,we achieve the design of RF sub-system,which include the module structure of RF sub-system,the distribution of the specifiction to the modules and the detailed design of the modules.The testing results indicates that the RF modules and the RF sub-system basically reach the demand of designed specification.The RF sub-system provides a RF channal for 4G system for verification.The thesis theoretically analyses the phase noise of the PLL source according to its testing phemonina.The conclusion is the phase noise near the center frequency of a higher phase detector is better than a lower phase dectector and the phase nose far from the center frequncy of higher phase detector is worse than a lower phase dectector.The thesis presents the design of shut down the transmitter, which can deduce the power consumption and interference.The main contents of the thesis have six chapters. The first chapter introduces the development of mobile communication system and the RF technology. The second chapter discusses the specification and development of RF technology in the new generation cellular mobile communication system. The third chapter presents the system design of the RF sub-system in the 4G system for verification, which include the modularized design according to the specification, the distribution of the specification and so on. The fourth chapter discusses the design of each module and many problems to be considered in practice. The fifth chapter introduces the testing method of key RF specification of the RF system in present testing condition and the result analysis. The sixth chapter is the conclusion and improvement.
