Study On The Role-oriented Model For Workflow And It's Application

The concept of Workflow originated from the fields of production and organized and automatic official business. It is to a concept that the activity with regular procedure puts forward in the routine. The purpose is through resolving a concrete job into a lot of tasks, roles, through certain rule and course, restrain the execution and control of these tasks, reach and improve enterprise's production managerial skill. It is a software system that can define and manage the workflow and shed execution of the instance to boost work in advance according to the logic of defined workflow. The greatest advantage of workflow management is to make use logic separated from course logic, in case of not revising concrete function, execute giving a new lease of life to and integrating managing of some course and course to production experience.Procedure modeling is a foundation of workflow management, at present a lot of modeling and analyzed tools have already presented which describe the workflow with different angles. Most of traditional procedure model based on active, face product, face goal or decision, which describe from such angles as the subject behavior, behavior result, purpose of the procedure, etc. separately, role-oriented workflow models has appeared in the past two years. After the research and compares between the role based model and incident based model for workflow, proposition role-oriented three-dimensional workflow model namely 3R model to demand characteristic of business administration, role space collection, role affairs cooperation relation and role organization is it concern as form 3 key elements of model that workflow to rely on. This model adopts the analytical method of role-oriented to carry on encapsulation with role's changes in it's inside activity and state, stress mutual and cooperation relation of role, prevent activity-oriented workflow model that exist insufficient in description of role. The 3R model increase the description based on reliance relation of institutional framework between roles in existing role-oriented model, make procedure can orientate the special person rely on this kind relation between the executor in the course of carrying out.We have adopted 3R model as the modeling method in development of managing the subsystem has flowed in the work in ESSP (Enovation Software Service Platform). The system regards J2EE as the realize platform, adopt the object-oriented design method and MVC design model. After demand analyzing and framework design for the whole system, we also have designed and realized the modules such as workflow definition, workflow engine, workflow watch, application of workflow, etc.
