Study On E-Book Security Strategy In Digital Right Management And Its Application

DRM technology is concerned with describing, identifying, exchanging, protecting, monitoring, and tracing the copyright usage of digital resources. In network environments, a confidence measure is generated, and a series of technological methods is used to protect an author's intellectual property rights and supervise the exchange and usage of digital resources.The security of a DRM system is dependant on the security of its trusted components, which may be run in unsafe circumstances. Thus its security model is fundamentally different from an Internet-based system. This thesis discusses the technology used by trusted components in a DRM system, with an emphasis on analyzing the development of e-Book management strategies and trusted components. Two achievements are presented: (1) A DRM trusted component based on hardware fingerprint recognition; (2) the algorithm of hardware fingerprint recognition. The implementation of this method will greatly benefit the construction of digital libraries.This thesis also addresses the issues of technological design and implementation of e-Book readers.
