Industry Ethernet as the next generation net control technology appeals to broad attention and recognition. Aiming at the characteristic features of industrial facilities, this paper develops embedded communication collection facility by using an embedded processor Rabbit2000, based on the advantage of Ethernet. The facility supplies us with two ways of connection with computer: Ethernet communication and asynchronous serial communication; the facility is also equipped with eighteen asynchronous serial communication interfaces which can communicate with industrial facilities, one CAN bus communication interface, forty-bit DI/O. Serial interface supports three communication criterions and can easily embeds itself to network nodes being composed of RS-485, RS-232 and circuit. Moreover each serial communication interface supports different communication format, rate and protocol. The facility is provided with very good compatibility. And this paper supplies us with a good way of constituting industry control system; this research work resolves the problem of upgrade that extends filed device to Ethernet.The author uses five processors, master-slave working method and modularization to design hardware circuit. One motherboard connects all the boards together to make servicing and enlarging easy. The fact the five processors work synchronously improves efficiency. And photoelectricity isolation of the communication parts improve reliability. The master processor communicates with slave processor by using three registers and this makes the communication at best pass three bytes once. This paper defines application and master-slave communication protocol based on the method of dealing with command and the character of master-slave communication. The protocol adds head part and tail part on the basis of primary standard protocol and all of these makes it clear to deal with all kinds of command, ensures reliability of transmission. The modularization of process improve its enlarging.The facility has been successfully used in remote monitor system. It is confirmed that the embedded communication collection facility is available by the applications and the experiments.
