Research And Implement Of Wireless Application Technology On Intelligent Terminal

With the development of the mobile communication technology and the improvement of the informationize degree, the intelligentize for mobile terminal has been become an outstanding hotspot in the evolution of the global mobile communication domain. As an important content in intelligentize, wireless application technology play very important role in developing and designing intelligent terminal. Therefore, research the implementation of wireless application technology on terminal is of great instructive and practical value.Based on the practical demand of developing the terminal, the emphases of the research work includes two parts. Firstly, a service and interface layer of wireless application is implemented, which is to further encapsulate interface in detail on the base of wireless module. With the service and interface layer, more simple and efficient implementation method for wireless application on terminal is provided. Secondly, the realization of the specific application has been researched based on the layer. The service and interface layer is composed of GPRS dial-up program and wireless connection manager. GPRS dial-up program is the base of wireless application accessing the GRPS network and realizing the mobile internet. By analyzing the common principle of GPRS network access and designing a dial program with adapting Point-to-Point Protocol, a viable accessing scheme is present. Wireless connection manager is the core module of the layer. Firstly, the frame structure is designed, and then the main sub-modules and key techniques are analysed, which comprises message receiver, service handler, serial port monitor, working mode switch, power management and application interface design etc.On the practice of wireless application, the general mode of application development based on the service and interface layer is analysed, and the realizing process of the application which based on wireless connection manager is detailedly descrbed with the example of short message application. Lastly, the other basic wireless application is discussed simply.
