The Internet and Mobile Communication have been developing rapidly in the passed ten years. Our society has become a network society because the Internet is popular, and Mobile Communication also has greatly altered the way people live and work. The demand of mobile data communication had come into existence because of the convenience of mobile telephone and it has promoted the technique integration of the Internet and Mobile Communication. In this situation the technique of Bluetooth has come into being. Chip with the function of Bluetooth has been integrated into many kinds of electronic and corresponding facilities for the transmission of voice, video and data with the small volume and low cost. Above all the technique of Bluetooth has the forecast of application in PAN (Personal Area Networks).Bluetooth provides a kind of wireless solving scheme, but it is too simple in Quality of Service (QoS) to satisfy the QoS requirement of the transmission of voice and video. This paper firstly analyzes the current QoS mechanism in Bluetooth network and its deficiency from L2CAP , SCO Link and ACL Link. Then We put forward the improved QoS architecture for Bluetooth network on the based of reference to Integrated Services, Differentiated Services in the Internet and QoS guarantee mechanism in Ad hoc. In succession we analyze the function and realization way of RM(Resource Management), RA ( Resource Allocation) , RC(Resource Correspond) and CF(Class Function) in the architecture, and design the QoS arithmetic in Bluetooth Piconet and optimizing policy for QoS in Bluetooth Scatternet.Compared of the former arithmetic, the arithmetic can satisfy data transmission rate and maximal delay of network traffic. It increases data transmission throughput and decreases delay, and optimize traffic strictly requiring bandwidth and delay such as IP voice.This paper then use BlueScat0.6 developed by IBM to simulate our arithmetic.Based on the simulate experiments, we analyze the performance of the arithmetic. It represent better than former arithmetic in throughput and delay of transmission.At the end of the article, we sum up the whole work and give some suggestions for farther research.
