Computer control system means to supervise and control industry process by computer. From the theories of classical control in the forties of the 20th century, to the distributed computer system (DCS) and programmable logic controler (PLC) etc be widely applied in the eighties, and to the Fuzzy control and Artificial Neural Networks being briskly studied now. the automatic control in industry process is developing very rapidly. And more andmore use and rely on computer.The chemical production possess large scale and high degree continuity, it is the foundamental pillar industry. It's development level directly influence the development of the whole national economy. The distillation unit operation is applied most widely in chemical separating technology, there is fairly ripe experience of engineering design and some basic theories , distillation operation possess large treatment volume, highly continuous and easy to operate. But, on the other hand, it's energy consumption is very much. Consequently, it must be far-reaching influence to enhance the study and application of the distillation process control.In pace with development of industry technology, the intersect and permeate of multilateral discipline and the comprehensive utilization of many kind of technology are attached more and more importance in scientific research and industry application. but, because of the complexity and requirement to knowledge of many discipline, the application of process control software is in the period of simulation and demonstration in research institute and school. Then, we developed a distillation process control experiment equipment which involved the knowledge of many discipline, include computer science, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering and automatic control etc. so as to advance the application of software system in process control education and study.This paper comprehensively discussed the mechanism and the design and implementation of this equipment, with the application of computer science , we expounded the selection, simplify and extraction process of mathematical model, and the analysis and design of the distillation process control system software applying object-oriented technology.
