Data acquisition module based on PXI bus is mainly studied and designed according to the PXI bus specification in the thesis. Data acquisiton module is widely used to construct PXI automatic test system. Its research is full of important actual meaning.Data acquisiton module is one of the main components of data signal processing. Data acquisition is widely used in the field of radar signal processing, digital image processing and virtual instrument. The thesis summarily describes the development and structure of PXI bus and development of data acquisition. The hardware of module chooses PCI9030 and CPLD to build up PXI interface after comparing. It chooses high precision, high performance CMOS analog multiplexers-MAX308/MAX309 to build 16-channel analog signals single input, channel and scale can be changed according to the programme. It uses 16 bits A/D chip-TLC4541 with high precision as core chip of acquisition module to complete analog to digital conversion. It chooses powerful data signal processor TMS320VC5409 as the local controller. It can not only do automatic calibration but also store and process the data with powerful data processing performance of DSP. Trigger circuit of PXI and control logic is designed with Altera's CPLD.In the part of software, the thesis studies the driver program of PXI device and the design of soft panel. It introduces several exploitation tools of device driver program, chooses WinDriver to design driver program, and gives some codes of driver program. Finnaly, it completes the soft panel of data acquisition module using Labwindows/CVI of NI.
