When the 21st century comes, Manufacturing Industries are facing the broad developing space and critical challenge. The requirement from the market changes continuously, especially on Time, Quality, Cost, Innovation, Serve and Environment. In order to adapting the situation, many manufacturing enterprises in our country have invested in the study of AMT-Advanced Manufacturing Technology, and put it into use. Now, many domestic enterprises are practicing the CIMS engineering. The managers often have these questions: How much profit can the project bring? What infections will it bring to the future? The enterprise is lack of an artifice of systematical thinking and analysis; this thesis makes it as a starting point exactly, and studying with the Tianhai CIMS project, making it clear what decision should the enterprise take, what it will bring.The development of AMT and the applications of computer simulation in manufacturing industry are reviewed in this paper at first. The principles of simulation and the characteristics of the simulation tools, especially the ways of modeling enterprise with system dynamics simulation are studied. The models of manufacturing process, ordering process, production process, price decision, shipping management are built with the simulation software Ithink, They are general for all the manufacturing enterprises. A business process model of the Tianhai factory also is found with the software Ithink here, it reflects the relationship among the price decision, shipping management, human resource management, manufacturing, and financial, put the ways of system thinking into the management. The dynamic change of the economic quotas that the managers concerned are analyzed under two conditions, which include a developing model and a smooth model. A numerical result of the productivity efficiency raising is given. The result of the profit that the CIMS project will bring is forecasted. The effect that the purchasing delay and the encouragement will bring also has been studied.This thesis puts computer simulation and systematical thinking and decision into the process of management decision. It gives the manager a clear recognize of the enterprise's future. An effective method to evaluate the progress of the CIMS is given. The achievement has a common sense.
