Software Development Research Based On UML And J2EE Technology With The Advanced Tools

In this Paper, use an example of the process of software development to research and apply the current excellent technologies and the advanced tools. Follow Rational Unified Process, use IBM Rational XDE Developer Plus for Java Platform as modeling tool, apply the use case diagram, the activity diagram, the sequence diagram, the state diagram, the class diagram, the package diagram, the component diagram and the deployment diagram of UML to model the software requirement, analysis and design, and generate the software framework; Use IBM Websphere Application Developer v5.0 as developing tool to realize software conforming to the MVC (Model, View, Controller) Pattern and J2EE architecture, base on JSP(Integrating Struts taglib), Servlet and EJB2.0(Use CMP with transactions managed by container); Use Websphere Application Server as the container for the developed software; Use IBM Rational ClearCase LT integrated with IBM Rational ClearQuest as the configuration management tool in the whole developing process.
