The content of this paper is one of "distributed medical image processing and analyses platform" which belongs to lijin province emphasize science and technology projects and jilin province science and technology medium-small enterprise fund project "updating multifunction medical X rays DSA system" . The main purpose is to study the algorithms and the relative technology on 2D and 3D image processing. Through this project, it will improve the development ability of our country' s medical diagnose facilities and softwares. Especially, it should have more significance to update old equipments.This paper provides a software named medical fault image processing based on PC, which can realize stand-alone replant. Because it is no longer rely on the special workstation, it can reduce the cost. The software provides the operations about 2D medical images such as filtering, smoothing, fusion operations and so on. We can use it to view the basic 2D and 3D images and print the report on patients. Besides, this paper also introduces the classic algorithm Marching Cubes used in the medical images processing, including its principle, algorithm and the steps for realizing it. Because the MC algorithm will examine all over the cubes in the data field, the speed of reconstructing model is very long. So this paper bring about a new algorithm named of region growing method for finding the voxels, applying the new algorithm in reconstructing model will speed up the process.
