This paper discusses the developing of Computer Simulating Training System(STS) of Pump Station Supervisory and Control which is applied to Dongjiang-Shenzhen Water Supply Improvement Project. Based on the thinking of software engineering, firstly, this paper analyzes the requirement of developing the STS and gives the system architecture; then analyzes the requirement of the user and the existent objective problem and establish the design principle, the function modules, the selection of software and hardware platform, principal chart of system, network architecture and the Configuration of the Simulation System; after this step this paper designs the HMI of STS and database system and realizes all functions; at last ,this paper gives the testing methods and steps of this system. The main content that the author researched is listed below:1. This paper analyzes the present condition of simulating system, studies the designing requirement, establishes the design scheme, and accomplishes the developing of STS.2. The term of on-line simulation is used for the simulating training system. Using on-line simulation, we can get the future state of supply water system in simulation system in any time. Especially, it can give a warning against any danger that would happen so that operators can do something to avoid it beforehand.3. The mathematic model of pump station is simulated by configuration software using the data exchange between OPC and PLC . Through simulating, we can carefully watch some danger so that we can find the problems and solve it through the system in order to prevent the serious consequence.4.Primarily realize the simulation of control function of pump APC and line APC. And provide the foundation of using the function in practical supervisory and control system in the future.
