The theory of GIS is expounded here and the app1 icationof GIS in water resource is showed in the artic1e.1mage processing is primary work in di sp1aying system,several c1assic interpolation a1gori thms are di scussed, thenthe resu1t of image interpo1at ion by reverse--di stance powera1gori thm is offered here.Network communi cat ion is means of me ssages and datatransport among parts of system. Windows sockets are designedto achieve the communication process between ca1cu1ationserver and c1 ient server.
