The way of transmitting information and exchanging thoughts more and more depends on audio-visual media. The electronic audio-visual media is the most important invention of modern science and technology. Its influence to people's lives surpasses any other media in the history. The modern electronic audio-visual media has a synthesis nature, and it is so vivid that it can be easily accepted by audiences. At present, it has become the most effective communication means for the masses.The supporting of high technology makes the modern electronic audio-visual media assimilate many kinds of traditional arts, and become an effective carrier and a dissemination way of each of them. In the meanwhile, the involvement of classical arts also gives the electronic audio-visual media cultural and artistic connotation. They are closely linked, and mutually affected. This article takes on the most representative electronic audio-visualmedia--television as an example, and elaborates the interactive relationsbetween the modern electronic audio-visual media and the classical arts.This article can be divided into four parts.The introduction part begins with the vigorous development of audio-visual media, and pointes out that the electronic audio-visual media has already become a main method for people to exchange thoughts. Electronic audio-visual art has unique popular and family esthetic character, and she eliminates the boundary between the noble and the masses, elegance and earthliness. She brings artistic goddess Muse from the sacred palace back to the masses, and makes arts that derive from life return to life again.
