As the development of component technology,all the open user-oriented application system should support Internet COM technology including the simulation of monitor system for training and teaching.This paper is based on the simulation of monitor system interface development in the project of warping dredging's updated technology research & application between Wuhan Transportation University and Yangtze river Bureau. The project is a national "the Ninth Five Years Plan" significant scientific and technological project. We have_developed a great part of ActiveX Controls used in the simulation of the monitor system in the virtue of Windows2000's convenience and Visual C++6.0's mightiness exploitation capability,integrated the monitor system with the ActiveX technology. By exchanging methods and properties with each other,the ActiveX Controls enable the real-time supervising and controlling in the simulation system. This task emphasizes on the study of the dynamic controls running in real-time that used in the monitor system.This paper introduces the research of the monitor system on Windows2000. It also discusses the theory and method about developing ActiveX Controls with MFC&ATL. At the same time,we also divide the function module of simulation into several parts by ActiveX technology and combine the monitor system with ActiveX Controls organically according to their interrelationship. The ActiveX Controls shows the runtime status of the monitor object associated with each other. Those Controls realize the data transmitting and message transferring in the monitor system. The ActiveX technology enables the application system to access remotedata as DOM documents. So,the monitor system can be upgraded conveniently in the future.Digital video technology has become one of the mainstreams in multimedia applications. For displaying a lifelikeness simulation in the monitor system,we develop a multimedia player that could play AVI files built by 3DSMAX in this project.
