Embedded Gateway Based On BACnet～(TM) Protocol

With the rapid development of the computer technology, the control technology and the communication technology, the demand of intelligence and automation in the digital community increases every year. After illustrating intelligent building and building automation system, this paper systematically discusses BACnet桝 Data Communication Protocol for Building Automation and Control Networks, including its architecture, objects, services and so on. Based on knowledge listed above, we put forward the idea of designing and researching embedded gateway based on BACnet for LonWorks networks.Next, the idea is carefully demonstrated according to BACnet protocol, data stream, TCP/IP protocol and application of BACnet protocol in embedded development. Then we also use Echelon corporation products - Lon Works network interface such as MIP/P20, MIP/P50, MIP/DPS to testify the idea feasible, right and excellent.After dwelling on BACnet protocol, our aim to design embedded gateway based on BACnet for Lon Works networks must be successful.
