Study of modeling and simulation for radio systems with uniform frame and creating of software library of radio systems on EDA software platform provide an effective way in completing the reasoning of project and scheme, performance evaluation and new algorithms study. Furthermore, the system designers can be free from hard manual programming. It will reduce the cost and period of development to achieve such advantages as convenience, high-efficiency and optimization in the design of radio systems. Based on the achievement that have been acknowledged, and using EDA tool as software platform, this paper mainly focuses on further study of modeling, simulation and design of radio systems. According to SPW software rules, chapter 3 is concerned with the creation of the models of RF systems software library, mainly including amplifier, mixer, directional coupler and switcher and so on. And in this chapter, modeling, simulation and design procedures of active filters are discussed. Chapter 4 introduces part of work about the modeling and simulation of wireless channels on EDA platform. In chapter 5, this paper mainly studies how to transfer data files between SPW and MATLAB and how to complete system simulation using SPW simulator and MATLAB synchronously. The results of this paper provide convenience and experience for further studies in the modeling and simulation of radio systems.
