Research And Development Of Engine Test-bed Computer Measured And Controlled System

This paper introduces a method to change engine test-bed experiment system to computer measured and controlled system. Upon altering former experiment equipment, by adopting computer-controlled techniques we developed an integrated monitoring software to make the process of engine test-bed experiment and data processing automatized. This paper discusses changing of the experiment equipment, design of hardware, and realization of functional modules of system software. We developed the entire software by VC++ 6.0 under Windows operating system. It friendly graphic user interface, flexible operating manner, and powerful data processing function prove that the changed system has much better performance than the old engine-bed test system. This test system can not only largely improve testing precision and reliability, but also accomplish experiments of variable working condition that can not be completed under manual control. The changed system needs little investment, but takes effect quickly, therefore it is of great value to many engine producers and researchers.
