A Research On The College Students' Environmental Ethics Education From The Ecology Civilization Perspective

Ecological civilization is a new form of civilization after the agricultural and industrial civilizations, which is a new form of human civilization human beings have chosen after human rational reflection on the contemporary environmental crisis. The proposing for the construction of ecological civilization is the Party Central Committee and standing on a higher level, the deepening of civilization-building system. It is a thoroughly implementation of the scientific concept of development, a necessary requirement for implementation of sustainable development, and for building a socialist harmonious society. The 17th party congress had sounded the clarion call of ecological civilization construction, stressed establish the concept of ecological civilization firmly in the whole society, and strengthening of environmental ethics education have an extremely important practical significance for the whole of society firmly establish the concept of ecological civilization.The rise of the concept of ecological civilization has made new demands on educational reform. In view of ecological civilization, it is an inevitable choice for moral education to strengthen college students'environmental ethics education. Today, the seriousness of environmental problems, the enormity of ecological civilization construction and the status quo can not be optimistic about the moral quality of the environment of today's college students; it is an urgent need for colleges and universities to include the college students'environmental ethics education into the whole personnel training programs and daily moral education work. Environmental ethics education in colleges and universities can provide new content and educational philosophy for the effective conduct of moral education; can train students in a good environment for the moral qualities; and can enhance the awareness of ecological civilization as a whole social group, which can make due contributions for the future of China's ecological civilization construction and sustainable development. Therefore, in view of ecological civilization, enhancing students'awareness of ecological civilization, cultivating their moral sentiments of environment, and fostering their moral quality of the environment, has become an inevitable choice for moral education in the new era.Carrying out the research on college students' environmental ethics education, it has an active role in improving the quality of college student in environmental ethics, promoting the comprehensive development of college students. At the same time, it has important practical significance for implementing the scientific concept of development and promoting ecological civilization construction.Learning from the findings of researches both at home and abroad, this article takes conservation culture as view, meshes with the demand of conservation culture construction and the present situation of environmental ethics education in colleges, combines theory and practice, and attempts to establish the perfect mechanism of our environmental ethics education in colleges and universities. This paper analyzes the current situation and existing problems about environmental ethics education, elaborates on the necessity, the significance and the main content of environmental ethics education in colleges and universities. And on this basis, it has put forward some principles and path selections to improve the effectiveness of college students' environmental ethics education, with a view to promoting the improvement of the mechanisms for environmental ethics education in Chinese universities.
