Analysis Of The Students' Quality Expansion Program In Southwest Jiao Tong University

The University Students'Quality Expansion Program is a systematic project jointly implemented by the central committee of the Communist Youth League, the Ministry of Education and the National Student Union whose purpose is to advance college quality education in depth. It takes the education of college students'ideological and political qualities as the core and the cultivation of creativity and practice ability as the key point and the general improvement of scientific and humane qualities as the purpose. Based on the thoughts and philosophies of modern human resources development, it scientifically plans and individually educates and comprehensively develops college students'comprehensive quality training.As the leading project of the college Communist Youth League, this project is positively being launched in national experimental colleges from which has acquired some effects as well as some difficulties. All in all, this project is still in the phase of implemental exportation of which further induction and summery of experience and shortcomings are demanded. The author investigates into the implemental effects of the University Students' Quality Expansion Program in Southwest Jiaotong University by the way of questionnaire survey and interview. According to the research and analysis, the author puts forward an experiencing method with popularizing value and introduces an improved approach to the existed problems.This thesis is divided into five parts. The first part is the introduction analyzing the study background and introducing this study purpose, contents, methods and significance and comprehensively summarizing the study status quo of the University Students'Quality Expansion Program. The second part is the theory study which comprising the Chinese and western scientific meanings of the university students' quality expansion program. The third part mainly introduces the working mechanisms of Southwest Jiaotong University's University Students'quality expansion Program and analyzes from three parts-basic platform, supporting platform and main body platform. The fourth part is about the investigation over the implemental effects of the University Students'Quality Expansion Program in Southwest Jiaotong University. From the revelatory view of the implement of the University Students'Quality Expansion Program in Southwest Jiaotong University, the fifth part puts forward the analysis of perspective angle and the policy advice which can perfect the education system of university students'quality expansion program.
