An Inquiry Into The Community Construction In View Of Socialist Harmonious Society

Community is the primary unit of society, and harmonious community is the footstone of a harmonious society. To put the community residents' needs in the first place is the key factor for the construction of harmonious society. We should serve for the community residents, make the maintenance and development of community residents'benefits as starting point and objective all along, continue to meet the progressively material and cultural needs of the community residents, carry out the policy on benefit to people in community in deed, to make the benefit of political, economic and cultural development be shared among the people. This thesis narrates the concept and the development of community, summarizes the general achievements in the process of our harmonious community construction by integrating the practical situation in Shengbei community, Sheng-li oil field. At the same time, in the core of the mission should e carried out by the construction of harmonious community, it analyses the problems in the process of community construction, also advance suggestions and countermeasures about how to solve these problems. This thesis suggests to enhance our community construction by advancing Community autonomy, perfecting Community service, perfecting cultural system of community, perfecting the managing system of community, confirming citizenship, cultivating public spirit, etc.
