The Conflicts Of Values Of Rural Middle School Students And A Research Into Their Solutions

The students we are rearing now in the rural areas will be the work force in the building of new countryside. Their quality will be a matter of failure and success of it. Their values will be core elements that influence their understanding and pursuit of value and value relationship, that affect them to decide their behavior goals, to choose their ways of behavior and to explain their behavior results, they will also be the fundamental breakthrough of students'cultural building in modern schools of rural areas, they are key links in cultivating modern civic consciousness of rural students, they are an important measure of creating a new-style farmers as well.This article expound or discuss the values of rural middle school students, their conflict and corresponding demonstrations firstly from the comparison horizontally of the values between rural and urban middle school students and from the comparison vertically of the values of these students,Then this article analyze the causes that arouse the conflict of values from four aspects, namely, the transformation of the society, school education, the weakening of family function and the psychological features of the country students.Finally, this article stress the guidance and self-building of values from the general regular pattern of values formed by middle school students, the author discuss the practice of solving it with emphasis on the education force from the school and teachers.It is hoped to establish a three-in-one educational network of school, the society and families together in a comprehensive way. She demands to stick to the body principle, the guiding principle and concerned principle to effectively improve their thought equality to enable them to establish the correct values to go to the society, thus allowing them to do contributions to the building of new socialist countryside.
