The Chinese Women's Missionary University is a unique and beautiful landscape in the history of modern education. It has played an important role in China's modern aboard, vocational, technical and medical education, and opened the first practice in women's higher education. Even today, it is a widespread community topic whether men and women have equal right to education and fair competition. Therefore, the study of women's education of Chinese Missionary University has a strong practical significance.The first chapter of this article compared the evolution of Chinese and Western thoughts of women. Confucianism and Christianity has a common for a long time that is discrimination against women, but after the Reformation, discrimination of Christianity against women has changed. As Protestant Christians advocate equality between the sexes, women have started to receive higher education opportunities. It is the first batch of female students in the end of the 19th century that provide the necessary teachers to the Chinese Missionary University. From the respective of religious parties, in 16 universities founded by western Missionary between 1850-1950, the Protestant universities accounted for 13 of which there are three women's universities, and the Catholic universities accounted for 3. In three Catholic Universities, Fu Jen Catholic University had not admitted women until 1938, this also shows that Catholic thoughts of women is relatively conservative.Chapter II makes a macro research of the development process of women's education in the Chinese Missionary University since the beginning of 1905.The development of women's education is divided into two periods: In 1905-1925, the goal of the Chinese Women's Missionary University is spreading the gospel and cultivating high-level religious leaders and clergy. Jinling Women's University and South China Women's University's religious atmosphere was very strong. This two universities must held a religious ceremony everyday, and students only learn to religious courses can they continue to complete their studies. In 1925-1949, after the movements of anti-Christian and the resumption of the sovereignty of education, the Chinese Women's Missionary University started to register in the file of the government, so the structure of teachers, professional and curriculum have undergone tremendous changes.Chapter III takes focus on the two independent Women's Missionary University which made an important contribution to the higher education of China's modern woman. From the personnel training, the two Women's Missionary Universities in the 1930s has become true elite schools because its tuition fees are very expensive. The staff of this two universities had a high level of qualifications because of its exceptional nature. The Women's Missionary Universities focus on the creation of Mathematics, English, Chemistry, Biology, Sports, Home-economics, and other practical professional. Missionary University has a unique position in English teaching and studying abroad has a unique position which is the main reason for a lot of Chinese female students choose the Missionary University. Normal education is a major feature of the Chinese Women's Missionary University and more than half of its graduates engaged in primary and secondary school teaching. Compared with the National Women's University in the same period, namely Beijing Higher Normal University for Woman, the Chinese Women's Missionary University more inclined to social services which can be seen from the motto of this two Missionary University.
