West North City Muslim Living Condition Research

The living complex of minority groups are consist different minority groups, the living area condition and its changes. It represents a place for minority to social, a place of change, and a place to observe the minority group's interaction. From theory point of view, if there is significant increasing in interaction between different minority groups, then it should benefit the minority groups by things like trading, culture life, and etc. It will increase and benefit the interaction between different minority groups, and provide the service of support each other. It also will increase the understanding of different groups, promote communal development. The country's internal national cohesion also will be stronger.West province is the place where most minorities gather and live, it contains our county's 80% of the Border line. The west province's safe and stable matters nation's stability, safety, and unity. Therefore, protecting western minorities' stability relates to nations safety and unity. Lan Zhou represents west provincial capital, also it is a place for many minorities to live. The interaction between different minorities happens most of time between Hans and the Muslims. The interactions between Hans and the Muslims are the key point in the relation between different minorities. So enhance the living conditions and relation between different minorities' living in Lan Zhou will strengthening the unity of minorities and stabilize the society. Thus, will provide a internal stable environment for economic development in city of Lan Zhou.This research paper use Lan Zhou City ChengGuan County as a reference, using combination of both sociology and anthropology, through the calculation of index of dissimilarity, historical data analysis as well as case study. Lan Zhou City ChengGuan County Muslim living condition's historical movements, and present situation as well as its influence were researched. Through the changes in Lan Zhou Muslim's living conditions, we observed that the urban corporate planning disrupted the unity of monitories living together. Urbanization in small scale changed the disorganized living pattern of minorities. The natural population growth and migration flowing also increased the appearance of mixed occupies in minorities. Generally speaking it is a scatteredly mixed living pattern, in between also there is a traditional living pattern. Through the formation of disorganized living condition, it not only adjust the minorities' internal relations, also through interact and understand between minorities, it can strengthen minorities' relationships. Increase in contact, so that different minority groups can get use to the needs of urbanization.
