Juvenile delinquency has been the focus of the whole society, which is also a problem that has plagued doctrine of judicial practice and community. It is described as incurable "social problems" by many criminologists and penal experts. Juvenile delinquency has been a serious social problem in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. Thus, with the theory guiding and through a survey on the causes of juvenile delinquency, we try to look for educational strategy in the protection of the minor, the establishment of a sound social order is of great practical significance to promote and accelerate the building of a harmonious society in our region.This research is guided by humanism, constructivism and cognitive learning theory as well. It investigates Guangxi Juvenile delinquents and normal school students of the same age through the scientific survey data dealt with the outcome. It analyzes the results with the method of literature study, comparative study and so on, and makes recommendations according to the existing problems.The Investigation is carried out among 220 Guangxi Juvenile delinquents and 280 normal students of the same age, using the self-designed questionnaire and SPSS10.0 statistical survey data in a secret manner, through which we have reached the following conclusions:1.There are significant differences between normal students and Juvenile delinquents with the aspirations of schooling. The proportion of reading or not of Juvenile offenders is higher than that of normal students.2. The difference in the interest of study is that fewer Juvenile offenders like reading than normal students, and more do not than normal students3. normal students take the initiative in the study, while Juvenile offenders are less active in learning.4. The proportion of Juvenile offenders who construct their own knowledge is lower than that of normal students after stimulation5.Normal students and minor criminals have great difference in the parental relationship: The minor criminals whose parents are both alive are less than the normal students. However, there is no distinctive difference for the parents'frequent quarrel, love or divorce.6. The education environment is also different. It is more likely that juvenile offenders gamble, see others gambling, play electronic games, see violent or pornographic films , and are often being robbed in campus etc. There is no distinctive difference in the aspect of having small factions in the electronic game halls or in the campus.7. The relationship between students and teachers exist differently. Juvenile offenders communicate less, fewer take the initiative to answer questions, fewer being respected , but cursed more by teachers. However, there is no distinctive in the aspect of being insulted or liked by teachers.8. The general relationship between Normal students /the minor criminals and classmates is also different. Juvenile offenders have fought or have quarreled with classmates more than normal students.9. The discipline of the class. The proportion of the class with poor discipline which Juvenile offenders are in is much larger than the normal students.10. The education time between them is different. Juvenile offenders receive relatively shorter than normal studentsThe reasons caused juvenile delinquency in Guangxi are various.They are from both inside factors and outside factors. So we propose three suggestions and educational strategies,The first is from family: to create conditions and respect rational needs.The second is from society: to purify environment and make pure family environment.The third is from school:to change ideas and erect correct orientations.Due to their mental and physical characteristics, they have plasticity and transformation. Only under the guidance of correct theory, gathering the three powers of"society, school and family", careful analysis of the causes of crime among juvenile, taking comprehensive measures and sparing no efforts to form an education can we do a good job in the juvenile crime-prevention work, and We firmly believe that the phenomenon of crime will be reduced gradually in our region.
