To building standardized boarding schools in the rural areas where students are sparse is the effective strategies to deal with the education problems. With boarding schools for problems of the sparsity of students, and with standardization for problems of the nonstandards.Schools in rural areas face an austere development situation, the original layout of rural compulsory education schools can not adapt to the reality. The sparsity of students caused a series of problems, low-quality, low utilization of educational resources, and some other problems. Small schools, multi-grade teaching, undergraduate admissions every two years, all these things are at the expense of the quality of education and interests of rural students. The austere development situation and pursuance for harmony education make it a demand that we have to build standardized boarding schools in rural areasThere are rationalities to build standardized boarding schools in rural areas. The research about functions of boarding school and cost-benefit analysis show that to building boarding schools in the rural areas where students are sparse can improve the school conditions and the quality of education, and also make the dream which education can eliminate poverty and injustice come true. And also our country can do it now.Building standardized boarding schools need a clear criteria, including financial input, the school layout, and construction of facilities, staffing and school management, and other aspects of the standards. When do it we should follow some principles, government investment as the mainstay, communication and co-ordination with each other, and do not increase farmers burden; there are some modes too.Standardized boarding schools in the rural areas have broad prospects for development, practice exploration and scientific research need to be constantly strengthened.
