A Study On The Support Systems For Financially Needy Students Of Higher Education Institutions Based On The Harmonious Concept

The activity to assist the impoverished students in colleges is one of the most important components of our colleges' education system. The 6th Plenary Session of the 16th CPC Central Committee has brought forward significant strategic plan structuring harmonious society of socialism, insisting the priority of education and promoting the fairness of education. However, with the continuous development of our education management system, especially the development of college education cost sharing system, the rate of the poverty-stricken college students rises year by year, the problem of poverty-stricken college students becomes serious and it has become one of the focal points of the social circles.Under the view sight of harmonious society, we should know how to solve the problems of modern subsidize system from the theoretical and practical levels, and under the directing idea of 'People-oriented', we should also study how to construct more scientific and effective poverty-stricken college students subsidize system, establish the effective guarantee system of subsidize and ensure the fairness of the educational opportunities and the stationary of the society. And it has significant realistic meaning to research the subsidize theory of poverty-stricken college students which has Chinese characteristics.This thesis combines the practices of the authors' work of poverty-stricken students for so many years.
