With the growing rise of the levels of vocational education as well as the gradual adjustment of the construction of the higher education in China, higher vocational education is undoubtedly going to play more and more important roles in the whole education system. Campus culture of higher vocational colleges, as a component of it, are attracting more and more people's attentions, which is sure to take a most significant role in moral education of those students who are experiencing the development of their own philosophy toward the world and endowed tremendous potentials. Trough specific material environment and spiritual milieu, the campus culture can influence the students unconsciously through what they hear and see, and guide and cultivate them to a sense of agreement in opinions, behaviors and values which will be formed internally into habits, understandings, beliefs and spirits and in the end further developed the morality expected by the society. This paper is mainly to analyze and inquire into the moral educational functions of campus culture of higher vocational colleges.The paper is composed of four parts:The first part is to introduce the background and significance of the paper theme, and deal with the theoretic value and realistic significance of it in terms of the distinctive moral educational functions, and the current situation of the construction of campus culture of higher vocational education.The second part is briefly to introduce the basic concepts involved in the paper.The third part is to make a complete exposition about the value-oriented function, motivated function, united function and molded function of campus culture and their specific forms.The fourth part is to put forward the measures and strategies by which campus culture will play its role in moral education. This part raises the strategies in terms of reinforcing the construction of campus spiritual culture, formulating campus culture regulation, improving the campus material culture, and establishing harmonious campus humanity environment in order to exert the moral educational function of campus culture in a better way.To sum up, campus culture is the key carrier of moral education of higher vocational colleges. It has important realistic significance to recognize its distinctive moral educational function and forms, to create conditions for bettering and constructing campus culture, and to exert its moral educational function to its most.
