Traditional teaching models focused only on fillingstudents with knowledge, neglected the cultivation of thestudents' abilities, qualities and characteristics. It didnot meet the needs of the development of the modern economicsociety. The aim of level division teaching model is to breakthe bundle of traditional teaching models. It tries toestablish the educational concept of full-scale developmentwhich regards human being as the basis, uses individualizedmethod of instruction, pays attention to all the students,respect the students' personality, improves the students'qualities and abilities. In this method, the teacher designsdifferent teaching aims and uses different teaching procedures,different teaching contents and different ways of assessmentaccording to the individual differences and facts of students.Thus can make all the students get proper educationalenvironment that is suitable for themselve and become betteras a whole than they used to be.In this thesis, I did a research on individualized methodof instruction in geography class-room teaching, guided bymodern educational theories and the trend of modern teachingmodels, combined with my own teaching practical experiences of many years. I did a lot of investigation and data analysis, andmake a scientific and comprehensive analysis and assessment ofthe results of my experiment.According to the study, the level division teaching model is good for improving the students' comprehensive qualities', developing the students' intelligence, cultivatingthe students' innovation, excellent personality and healthy human dignity. It's a useful way to carry out the quality education.
