Over the reform of China, and with the rapid development ofeducation, the education on beauty and art has been increasinglyemphasized, and the music education, being an important means ofputting beauty education into effect, has been put in the leading of theimportance, and great achievements have been attained in many aspectssuch as education and research. Nevertheless, the music education in ruralmiddle and primary school, being the base of quality education, remainslonely, and is asynchronic with our quality education time.The paper has the investigation of the current situation on educationsense, education facilities, the structure, quality and management ofteachers in 23 rural middle and primary schools in northern hunanprovice. In order to improve the music education of rural middle andprimary schools, based on the special rural environment of economic andculture the paper also puts forward the personal opinions on the changingof education model, the increasing of education input, especially to therural area, the construction of the contingent of teachers,the teaching wayof musical education at the contry, and so on. The goal of the paper is tohelp with the sustainable development and developable of the educationmodel of the music education of rural middle and primary schools ofXiangbei as well as the whole country.
