The contemporary youth lies in the social environment of the pluralistic, open and changeable, a wide variety of values has been trying to exert its influence on students. And the coexistence of multiple values will become a common phenomenon in the social sphere, choosing will become the daily conduct of students in the value life. Facing the "arguing" moral maze, the students must choose, and they should learn to choose, otherwise it would be a loss follows, thus falling into a state of confusion of values. As the impact of a variety of factors, such as the social environment, school moral education, family education and young people themselves, young students lost the moral nature of the subject, don't obtain moral freedom, can't make the free choice, and lack of moral choice ability, as a result, students can not assume responsibility for their own ethical behavior and lost moral responsibility and moral conduct. Therefore, the traditional obedient-moral-education has been unable to meet social development and changes, and cultivating moral choice ability is put on the agenda of moral education in schools. This thesis attempts to probe into the issue from the theory and practice, mainly using literature, historical research, interviews and other research methods. This paper consists of three parts :Part I: Research basis, including the necessity and possibility for schools to help students develop moral choice ability.Part II: Through interviews with teachers and students in primary and secondary schools, aggregate current students' moral puzzlement and the defects of the moral choice, and analyze their own reasons in several areas, including social environment, schools moral education, family education, and young people themselves.Part III: Establish the strategy of developing moral choice ability : Firstly, discuss the principles of developing students moral choice ability, including the principles of coexistence of centralization and pluralism values, students subject principles, principles of the level of criteria for moral choice; Then, discuss specific strategies to promote moral choice ability, including determining grading sequence of moral values, using moral story training, providing opportunities to practice morality.
