Department of education promulgated history curriculum standardization of all-day compulsory education (trial draft) in July 2001. According to the curriculum history standardization ,People's Education Publishing House and Beijing Normal University Publishing House and Huadong Normal University Publishing House organized some experts to compile three sets of history trial textbook which are trying out in some curriculum reform trial areas and exploiting all over the country. But which one can play an important role in course of teaching? And how do the teachers in trial areas use the history trial textbooks in order to embody the basic idea of the standard completely ? In order to settle these problems, in this thesis we choice Grade 8(first term) history trial textbooks of the three editions and study the systems, structures, contents, illustrations, practices and compiling styles of the three edition history trial textbooks comparatively to provide some references for teachers.The significances of comparative research consist in: by means of comparative researches the superiority of trial textbooks can be embodied , the teaching ideas of three-edition history trial textbooks can communicate with immense teachers and students to grasp the content system, exert the advantages of three textbooks and improve the quality and efficiency of history teaching. By means of comparison some pieces proposal of emending textbooks in the future can also be provided.
