Art education is not the professional and technical education, but the basic education of personnel quality and the education project to built complete personality. Art Education should reflect the concept of comprehensive education, and consider the development of person as the ultimate goal of education.Teaching of art college entrance examination is an integral part of high school teaching and the expanding and extending of art courses during the period of compulsory education. It is also a link between basic education and college education, as well as an indispensable component of art teaching in colleges and universities. Now the one-sided pursuit of higher education to senior secondary schools makes a considerable gap between teaching of art college entrance examination and the new ideas of education and the requirements new curriculum. The author have selected some high schools as a target in a draw on the research findings. The research is based on the use of quantitative and qualitative research methods, through interviews, questionnaires and other methods to understand the teaching of art college entrance examination. Finally, the research results have been compared and analyzed.The survey results show that there are some problems in teaching of art college entrance examination such as skills training instead of teaching, there is no uniform requirements and uniform standards in teaching, the liberalization of teaching is serious, the teaching methods is single, the teaching is one-sided and the modern teaching concepts is backward.To solve these problems that exist in teaching of art college entrance examination, the author put forward the following strategies: to adhere to the people-centered education purposes, concern the overall development of students; to encourage scientific education system, and take the road of diversity training; to standardize the teaching of art college entrance examination, and make teaching more healthy and correct; to adhere to a comprehensive innovation, and improve the teaching methods effectively; to establish a scientific evaluation mechanism; to improve the professional ethics of teachers and the overall level of professional quality effectively.
