Starting from scratch to professionalization , from part-time teachers to full-time teachers , teacher professionalization abroad underwent a series of progress of vicissitudes and developments. Since the 1980s, it has become a strong trend of thought, leading the developmental orientation of teacher profession and teacher education. Not only teachers' pre-service education has tended to professionalization, teachers' in-service training has been facilitated, teacher education has been universitization, but also teachers' appointment criteria have been advanced. Teacher professionalization requires teachers of not only knowledge but also ability, who can be engaged in autonomy learning and lifelong learning. The more teachers can reflect in the teaching practice, the more they can improve and promote in the reflection. According to different features of each stage of pre-service education, induction and in-service training, particular and manifold realization models were adopted during the course of professionalization of teacher education abroad.Therefore, it's essential for us to sum up scientifically and learn from the advanced experience and beneficial practice of the development of teacher professionalization abroad, establish professionalization ideas, construct diversified models of teacher education, reform teacher education curriculum system, perfect teacher qualification system. Only in this way can we push forward better the development of teacher professionalization and constantly enhance the teacher education quality in our country.In this paper, the author tries her best to handle skilfully comparative research method on the basis of literature research and historical research methods, and think as time and space require, hoping to offer some beneficial reference and enlightenment for the development of teacher professionalization in China by integrated research on the course and developments and models of teacher professionalization abroad.
