Knowledge is the core of knowledge economy while innovation of knowledgeneeds innovative ability, which needs the nature of innovative education. So how tonurturing innovative ability is the problem that the teaching circles pay close attentionto. Reform, within China, ranging from the implementation of quality-orientededucation in every aspect to ongoing innovation of basic courses, embodies this trend.Exploratory style teaching is one of the teaching methods that reflect quality-orientededucation and new concept of courses, which play an active part in nurturing students'creativity. Along the development thread of exploratory style teaching and combiningthe junior middle school physics classroom teaching .The author summarize a kindof teaching pattern "guide-exploration-development" and make a research in term oftheory and practice.Thesis consists of five parts.In the first part, the author briefly analyses practice condition of exploratory styleteaching both at home and abroad. Combing with the new turn practice of coursereform, the author expounds the necessity of practicing exploratory style teaching inJunior middle school physics teaching and practical questions existed in presentpractice. In the meantime, this part introduces main substance and basic method ofteaching experimental research.In the second part, this analyses the meaning and characters of exploratory styleteaching, combining the junior middle school physics classroom teaching with otherscholar's research.In the third part, this thesis expounds the theory base.In the fourth part, combining practice, the author expounds the concreteimplemental principles, and put forward concrete implemental strategy: to providesurroundings beneficial to exploration for the students;to bring the potential of thestudents into full play in exploratory teaching, to develop the creative ability of thestudents through class experimental teaching, to appraise the students' creativebehavior correctly and to pay attention to the students' development during theexploration. The author summarizes the exploratory teaching pattern, which is"guide-exploration-development", and analyses it through instance.In the fifth part, the author analyses the teaching experimental result. The resultshows: Exploratory style teaching can raise the students' interest, change the students'attitude;improve the creative ability effectively and then improve the marks inphysics. Finally, according to the problems in exploratory style teaching, the authorput forward several thoughts and advice, pointing out the defect of this thesis andhoping to improve it in practice.
