The textbook plays a very important role in primary and middle school, as most important teaching tool. The textbook have an outside-show value, which can be show explicitly in the textbook and is controlled by country and society, and a recessive value, which be hidden in the textbook and be founded difficultly. Both two value are necessary dedicate to get worth conduction and goal of education in the textbook. In fact, there are an phenomena unfair to important position of inside-hidden value, that the field of recessive value study, which is intensive in textbook consciousness and sex role field, is not only smaller than that of other value, but also be usually ignored by researchers and users of the textbook. Therefore, the paper analyzed primary and middle school Chinese textbook and concluded recessive value of Chinese textbook by means of text analysis method, according to angle of introspect and examination. The analysis and research of the recessive value put forth effort in the opposition of appearance beauty and spiritual beauty, in the worth incline to exit, in the worth trends of reason and adult, in the judgment thinking vacuum, in the suspect character direct etc. based on present Chinese textbook recessive value, some thinking and suggestion were give in order to provide a new angle of view and a new method of view textbook for textbook writer, user, and researcher.The thesis are divided four section: the first, summarized on origin oflanguage textbook recessive value research, present research, research meaning, research process and research method;The second, demonstrated the content, characteristics, carrier of recessive value, and its relation to recessive curricular;The third part, put forth effort carrying on concrete analysis on the recessive value in the current Chinese textbook, according to angle of introspect and examination;The four part, putting forward some suggestions and thinking, based on the Chinese textbook's recessive value.
