Based on the objective fact of the transformations from the planned economy to the market economy, from industrial society to knowledge economical society, from traditional Chinese culture to the blending of the Eastern and Western cultures and form elite education to universal education, the thesis makes a systematic induction of the positive and negative changes of the contemporary college students' moral concepts to reveal their development trend. Furthermore, the thesis makes a thorough analysis of the reasons that cause these negative hangs and accordingly puts forward some strategies and counter-measures to guide the change of the contemporary college students' moral concepts and its development trend .The Thesis is divided into 4 parts:Part One analyzes the background of the change of the contemporary college students' moral concepts and its development trend. At present, our nation is in the course of transformation in economy, society, culture and education; this unavoidably produces great influence on the college student's moral concepts, of which the mainstream is positive.Part Two introduces the change of the contemporary college student's moral concepts and its development trend by comparing college student's different moral concepts before and after the transformation, this part induces the main manifestation of the change of the contemporary college student's moral concepts from eight aspects to reveal six development trends of the change. The eight aspects refer to the student's concepts of collectivism and individualism, interests concept, happiness idea, outlooks of honor and disgrace, values, competition concept, society concept, consumer concept and marriage concept, The six development trends are the changes from unity to multiplicity, from idealism to pragmatics, from closing to opening, from the separation of the East and the West to the blending of fromvague division between the collective and the individual to clear separation between the two and from perception to reason.Part three analyzes the problems and reasons of the change of the contemporary college student's moral concepts. Although the mainstream change is positive, there still exist a lot of problems, such as lack of correct outlook on lift, lack of would outlook or lack of the thought to serve the people, or indifference towards collectivism in contrast to deep concerns for individualism, and so on, this part traces the reasons to such factors as the society, the family, the school and the individual himself.Part four introduces the strategies and countermeasures to guide the change of thecontemporary college student's moral concepts and its development trend. The condition of the contemporary college student's moral concepts is of vital importance to the future of our nation. The schools of higher education should become aware of the importance of moral education, set up new concepts of talents and probe for correspondent methods and measures to strengthen moral concepts education from such aspects as concept, means, channel, mechanism, and so on.
