In 1920's, there are three Christian higher schools in Guangdong, including Lingnan University, Hackett Medical College and Union Theological College. The powerful and dynamic Restoration of Education Rights Movement in 1920's made great influence on them, which leaded to an end of the situation that missionary schools were out of the leadership of Chinese government, and weakened the connection between missionary schools and western missions. Hereafter, missionary schools became part of the Chinese educational system and became more native , and its religious character was getting weak.This thesis consists of seven parts. The first part is a brief introduction to the early development of the three Guangdong Christian higher schools. Then it focuses on the changes of the administration, curriculum, assessment standard of students' studies, funds and the cooperationship of the three Christian higher schools, and the reasons for these changes from the second part to the sixth part. The finnal part is the multiple commentary on Guangdong Christian higher education.
