In order to adapt to the need of new curriculum reform and development in math teaching, and to change the present situation that traditional math teaching pay more attention to conclusion but not process, the writer perform this research.The search is very useful to improve the students' ability of analysis and solving the problem they meet; it's also good to improve the students' cognitive structure perfectly and it's important for them to develop their personal character; it's necessary and useful for us teachers to improve our own ability and quality.The main idea of the teaching of generating process of mathematical knowledge in middle school is: mathematical teaching bases on the feature of the subject itself, it must be related to the age of the students. By analyzing and understanding the teaching content, teaching thought and method, by creating the proper teaching situations, we can lead our students to know how math was born, grown and developed. It is the teaching model that produces the conflict between student's new and old knowledge, and form new cognitive structure.My essay mainly studies the process of how the students study math in class. The result of research is that we found and used the way of "one line and two centers" in our math teaching. That is the process of how math was born, developed and changed; it's the main line. "Two centers" means the students and teachers play the important part in teaching. That is: the teachers are the directors and the students are the actors and actresses. The important part of our teaching is to know how much the students know and grasp the knowledge; and the difficult point in teaching is to set up a proper studying and teaching situations. Teachers make the proper study situations because it can enable the learners to reach a meaningful construction. According to my analysis and comparison of some teaching methods and the designs between old one and new one, it's pointed out that the traditional designs of teaching is made for the teachings' teaching, while the constructivism way of teaching is made according to the learners' learning. The passive view on learning and mechanical view on teaching should beopposed and changed. In the condition of quality education, the constructivism has come into the theory of education. The principles and methods of modern teaching math were raised. The issues based on modern constructivism and fundament: what inherit for a person's study.In the 21st century, the constructive teaching methods must take the place of the traditional method. As a teacher of math in a middle school, I know it is very important for us to know how to operate our teaching program and how to make it perfect. I'll go on studying the modern theory of education by teaching and studying practically.
