As an important branch of the Chinese educational culture, the Chinese teaching materials culture, which is as old as Chinese culture, is the parent body that inherits Chinese culture and cultivates Chinese Sons and daughters. Selecting "perspective" which of special value and methodology, this article probes into the eight parts: preface, background perspective, culture perspective, ontology perspective, modernization perspective, purpose perspective, edition perspective and nationality perspective. From the macroscopic, this article inquires into the Chinese teaching materials from the origin, the development in pre-Qing Dynasty, the summit during Tang Dynasty and Song Dynasty, the decline during Ming Dynasty and Qing Dynasty to the changing, renewing and fusing in modem times, highlighting the influences and functions of the Chinese culture center upon the Chinese teaching materials. By analyzing the modern expand of the western culture center, this article concludes that it is of practical significance and necessity of history to resume the dominant position of the national culture in the Chinese teaching materials. The 21St century should be a new century when the Chinese culture will be revived in all-round way, and the Chinese teaching materials culture should be the pillar of the renaissance. The Chinese teaching materials culture not only shapes individual's character, fosters lofty sentiments, heightens cultural mastery, but also 'embodies national spirit, contains cultural psychology, inherits national culture.From the microcosmic, the Chinese teaching materials culture influences the orientation of educational purposes and editions. The purposes of Chinese education were once deeply influenced by the cultural ideology of the confucianists, the legalists, the Taoists, the Mohists and other schools, afterwards, it gradually tended to unification in the integration of the pluralistic cultures. But the variation and fluidity of culture changed the steadiness at all times, especially the Buddhism, the minorities of the western region and the western industrial civilization impacted the Chinese culture greater and greater. New China has brought the new culture of socialism. The Chinese teaching materials culture advances together with the times. After the disciplinized construction of nearly one2hundred years, it has accumulated a wealth of experience and lessons, and now as it absorbs the. quintessence of foreign cultures, it is reflecting and returning to the tradition. It is urgent to reconstruct the Chinese teaching materials culture full of national characteristics, to stress the aesthetic position of the teaching materials of handwriting and poems based on Chinese character and Chinese language and to create the Chinese value center on Chinese culture.
