Land-lost farmer is the special community which appears along with the Urban sprawl in the period of social transformation. The problem has become one of"the new three agricultural problems"and obtained society's widespread attention. Families of land-lost farmers have been influenced in patterns of life style, family relationships and family security. This study starts with the influence which land-losing created to families, using empirical research method. Through the investigation of 302 land-lost farmers by questionnaire and depth interview in suburb of Hengshui Taocheng District, I revealed problems and reasons of land-lost farmers'families and gave some advices, in order to improve and enhance their life quality and provide certain basis for relevant departments.This paper is composed of 6 chapters.The first chapter is the introduction. It mainly discusses the goal and meaning of this study, related literature review, the methods of this study and the innovations of this study.The second chapter is the interpretation of effects which losing land created to the farmers' family. It mainly discusses sociological theories such as modernization theory .The third chapter is the design of effects which losing land created to the farmers' family questionnaire research. It mainly discusses the research hypotheses, the design process and sampling questionnaire method, the method of data collection and data processing method.The fourth chapter and the fifth chapter are the focus of this article. It starts from questionnaires and reveals the land-lost farmers family status and summarize land-lost farmers family the existing problems and causes.The sixth chapter proposes strategies and measures.
